Established in 1967, Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology is a multiple-campus public college located in Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. The college offers over 180 full-time programs in its various campuses that spread across Peterborough and the Greater Toronto Area with unique academic specialities. It offers full-time and part-time programs in diploma, graduate, baccalaureate, and certificate-level.
Newnham Campus of Seneca college is one of the largest campuses in Canada. This campus offers various courses such as business, engineering, aviation, early childhood education, fashion, opticianry, information and communications technology and liberal arts. Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE) at Newnham Campus has an innovation centre, HELIX, that accommodates major technology labs for mechatronics and robotics courses as well as extensive computer labs and classrooms.

When Seneca's Markham Campus start functioning in 2005, it become the first post-secondary education institution located at Markham, Ontario. Students can avail program such as Business, Marketing, Tourism, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology Services.
Peterborough Campus primarily focus on aviation programs. The campus provides Bachelor of Aviation Program. Some courses at the Peterborough Campus are offered in partnership with Fleming College. Yorkgate Campus offers post-secondary as well as tailor made programs in academic upgrading. The programs at this campus includes post-secondary programs such as Practical Nursing and Social Service Worker.
